5018 - Adult Education Attendance Policy

Few factors have greater influence on student success than does regular attendance. It is of great importance that a student is in school unless that student places other students in jeopardy of health or well-being. Daily participation in a demanding and meaningful education program is one of the keys to success. We believe therefore, that in order to fully benefit from the educational opportunities provided, the student must be in school. Responsibility of school attendance shall be that of the student attending classes, as absents shall also be the responsibility of the student to inform the instructor.

  • Students will attend the 3 days of instruction given in a week and be present throughout the 4 hours of instruction.
  • Each student will sign in and out of each day with his name, date, time he/she arrived and time he/she left class for the day.

Students will commit to the following to ensure their success in the Adult Education Program.

  • Level gains in the students program.
  • Progress monitoring

Student Separation of Students

As abiding by Adult Education ruling, Piute Adult Education will dropped a student after 90 days of attendance.
