4117 - School lunch Charges
It shall be the policy of the Piute County School District that students pay in advance for school lunch and that charges for school lunch not be allowed except in emergency situations when a student forgets to bring a lunch or money for school lunch. The principal will determine whether or not a charge is to be allowed.
Emergency situations will be limited to three days. After the first day, the school secretary will contact the parents to notify them of the policy.
Parents will be notified of this policy upon its approval by the Piute Board of Education and annually at the beginning of each school year.
