Superintendent's Welcome Back to School Letter

August 1, 2013

Dear Teachers, Parents, Students, and Community Members:

It is with sincere optimism and motivation that I write this year's "Back to School" letter to all those who play such an important role in the educational process of our District's nearly 350 students. Each school year brings a new spark of hope, vision, excitement, and with many, anxiety of what the new school year may bring. As we begin this school year I wish the greatest success for all our students, teachers as well as paraprofessionals and others who work so hard to facilitate the infrastructure of effective schools.

In talking about success, the past school year brought many challenges yet many accomplishments were achieved. At the elementary school level we have seen continued success in our state assessment scores. At the high school level, we saw continued success in our student's state test scores.
